Something is brewing.

The chai’s already on — pehle chai, always. It’s the story we’re about to start pouring.

Between you and us

Someone else always wrote the story first. You just got handed the finished thing.

India gets a storytelling company of its own — independent, and answering to no one but the story.

What exactly? We’re not telling — not yet. Some things you serve finished and hot, not half-cooked in a whisper.

Our anthem

If we had a sound, it’s this one.

Raftaar wrote it for the writer Saadat Hasan Manto — the one they hauled to court for putting people on the page a little too honestly. We keep it on loud around here. Press play; you’ll know us before we say a word.

The doors are shut. On purpose.

For now the keys sit with the Karyashala lot and a few who were already in the Qafila. They’re the ones laying the bricks — and keeping the chai on the boil.

Everyone else, your chai’s still on the stove. Hang on a little longer. It’ll be worth the wait — you have our word.

Built together

None of this is ours alone.

Every rough version of this got carried back to the Qafila — the people who wrote in, pushed back, and told us plainly when we’d got it wrong. Their feedback, their inputs, their nudges are baked into what’s coming. We don’t make stories at people. We make them with people — that was always the whole point.

So before anything opens: thank you — every thought, idea, question and bit of criticism went in. If that was you, a chair in the Qafila is already yours. Pull it up, just below.
